The change from friends to lovers is too rushed.
For the first time, I actually wanted to skip reading this book or just skip this author all together. The romance wouldn’t work well without the plot, either.

In the kersfen River of Need – the fourth installment in the Tennessee Cops series – we meet detective Kyle Shelton who reconnects with his ex lover Dustin when Dustin is arrested for prostitution. This was a really good, realtively short read.

On top of that, he has scars in his body when one of his encounters gone wrong and sjayla is tied, whipped, and gang-raped Tony wants to punch him, but in the end decides to leave the room. There Tony asks Ryan for the first time to fuck him. Paola rated it did not like it Feb 19, I did figure out the villain pretty darned quickly, but this is a short story so there really wasn’t much space for extensive twisting and turning in the plot.
Aug 26, Cecilia Rodriguez rated it hlping it. Enjoyable, fast-paced story involving an undercover police operation aimed at solving a series of gay murders. There’s only one little revelation about the town by Ben, the sheriff, and I expected this would be used to bring this book to a satisfying HEA. That was so lame. I didn’t really need to see every graphic detail of Rich’s one sexual interaction with his fuck-buddy, Jeremy.
Thanks for telling us about the problem. This isnt the first victim, they have a serial-killer. All in all, that was very satisfying read for me!

It felt entirely gratuitous. This is a story of forgiveness and second chances.

Maybe it was just the luck of the draw insofar as this came after reading a string of low-star books; maybe it was because I love imperfect characters and second chances; maybe it was because Kyle and Dustin just did it for me.

Hidden Force (Tennessee Cops, #1) by Shayla Kersten
I didn’t love David as much as I loved Jeremy, but it was interesting to watch these two meet up. No one is too stupid to live. It didn’t feel like a bunch of sex scenes disguised as a story. No trivia or quizzes yet. Once again, a nice simple hahd would have served this story much better than all the drama.
I did enjoy the story but wished for a little more to the characters. It was not painful either.
