Why not the Black Highlander? Will Duncan realize that the boy is his son, despite how Jeannie’s hidden his real birth date? Maybe it was because it’s been a while since I read a book by her, or maybe it’s because the character’s motivations made some sense in this one.

I was very happy to read more about Patrick and Elizabeth, their book being the best in the series for me. I know that Duncan had to first clear his name, but an unclaimed son, that is some material. I thought the backtracking in the beginning was annoying. I really enjoyed this trilogy and look forward to starting on her next trilogy soon Read full review.
