Forget the fact that it’s an unnecessary expense and would not be used. Joel espouses an agricultural paradigm shift that sees plants szlatin animals as partners rather than units of production. So when people compare these bureaucrats to Nazis it is in a very real sense an accurate comparison.

We urgently need to support and strengthen the position of family farms, the farmers’ market, farm gate and direct sales model, and in my view particularly support vegetable growers who often end up at the bottom of the financial heap. I remember k hearing a political analyst discussing the ways that populism expresses itself from each party, with the Republican party appealing to people’s fear of the government while Democratic populism appeals to people’s fear of big businesses.
The average person rightly believes government implements regulation to help and protect the people.
